EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Koons has defended health care providers since 1985 in trials, mediation and incident investigations before the office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, the Indiana Department of Insurance Patients Compensation Division, state and federal courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. Koons has tried numerous medical malpractice cases before Indiana and has defended the medical aspects of mass/toxic tort claims, primarily in asbestos litigation.
